Eye exams focused on your needs

During your eye exam we’ll explain the procedures, answer your questions and recommend personalized vision solutions based on the results. Eye Boutique’s experienced, caring eye doctors complete eye exams in the Geneva Center using state-of-the-art equipment

Eye exam services include:

  • Visual acuity tests
  • Examination of external & internal eye structure
  • Glaucoma & cataract screenings
  • Treatments for eye infections, allergies, dry eyes & digital eye strain
  • Preventative care for eye health disorders.

When in doubt, get your eyes checked! Regular eye exams protect your vision and prevent complications down the road. High blood pressure, diabetes and side effects from medications can affect the overall health of your eyes.

Mandatory eye exams for children in Illinois

Illinois requires all children to have a comprehensive eye exam from an optometrist or ophthalmologist before starting kindergarten. Children who move to Illinois from another state are also required to have an eye exam when enrolling for the first time in any Illinois school.

Be sure to bring your child’s Eye Examination Report to the appointment. You can find a copy here.

Eye exam insurance coverage

Eye Boutique in Geneva accepts most vision plans including VSP. Vision insurance plans usually cover routine eye exams and may even pay for part of your eyeglasses or contact lenses. Flexible spending accounts can be used to pay for eye exams and eyewear.

Your medical insurance may also be billed if you’re facing a medical condition that affects your eye health (such as pink eye, glaucoma or macular degeneration). Eye boutique is happy to do an insurance check and explain your benefits.
